DEVELOPMENT ZONES FOR WIND TURBINES

We are the inhabitants of the communes of which the communauté de communes EVAUX CHAMBON also CHENERAILLES are composed.

We are from all walks of life and whether we are tenants, permanent of temporary residents, we have one common concern, we have reason to believe that wind turbines would be very harmful to us and to the future of our region.

The construction zones called "ZDE - zone de développement éolien" (developpment zones for wind turbines) have been agreed. However, these ZDE do not take into account the risks linked to our health, such as those which are in the report of Académie de Médecine which recommends that wind turbines be placed more than 1 500 mètres away all habitations - the ZDE's envisaged for our region are within 500 mètres !

Wind turbines bring with them many problems, a few of them being : vibrations, noise and flashing light - days and nights, which have been linked to creating stress related health problems for us, and for animals too. The advantages promised from the windmills of 150 mètres high (and higher) do not cover the cost of health prolems and the harm to agricultural activities, to handscapes and to the values
of property.

Our association was founded in order to requiest "l'autorité préfectorale" to recondiser its decision regarding all ZDE's envisaged for on community of communes. We have submitted meetings against these ZDE's. We continue to flight against the impostor being implemented.

Help us in the campaign against these intrusive machines which will disfigure our beautiful contryside and reduce our capital assets.
